Cheerful Yellow Daisies - Mellow Yellow Monday, July 26, 2010

These wonderful daisies graced the steep hillside of a San Francisco Noe Valley Victorian house and yard that was also planted with bouganvilla, bird of paradise, and an assortment of other bright flowers.

I am participating in Mellow Yellow Monday - come join in the fun!

Daisies are everywhere out here, both the white and yellow varieties. I just love them.

I agree with you. My header with the yellow daisy fields and any yellow flower scenes look nice against the purple background of the newmplate. It's almost the same color as my new
    poetry book.

    SquirrelQueen -
I was so lucky to chance upon that beautiful header shot - just down a remote road in my town. I love that picture. And there are wonderful daisy scenes all over out here.

Those daisies remind me of my first CA visit when I was eighteen. I saw the yellow an white ones growing everywhere. When I moved out here, I bought my first set of dishes from a CA pottery company in a pattern called Sculptered Daisy but they are no longer made. I can still get replacement pieces, though and I think I will. I still love the dishes.

You take good care of yourself right now. I expect I'll come up with a 55 on Friday.

    Joanna Jenkins -
Glad you liked my daisies. They are such a bright, reliable cheerful flower.

At 65, I've done it! My poetry book - Life's Journey by Carmen Henesy - is out on Amazon!
