The weekend challenge from Unique Exposures is "ships" - &, goodness knows,
with over eighty cruises under my belt, I'm familiar with those ships that carry
passengers on dream journeys ( at least, all of my ship experiences have been
wonderful ). Seventy-eight of those cruises were on Royal Caribbean and I

port with us at Villefranche, France. It happened to be of a former Royal
Caribbean ship, the Sovereign of the Seas, that I had sailed on many times.
I felt rather sad seeing it now owned by Pullmantur Cruise Line of Spain. It
still bore the name, "Sovereign."

I can only imagine what a ship like that looks like up close. Living near the Detroit River for so long I got to see working ships, but I'm not sure any of them were this big.
ReplyDeleteThey sure are big. Much bigger than our Badger, and it's big enough.
