Since we had gone several days with no rain at all, I thought we had seen the end
of monsoon season. Not so, apparently, as there have been torrential downpours
off and on since the start of the Bandra Fair, which has been taking place in the
streets by our condo. And what rain it has been, complete with thunder and
lightning which hasn't normally accompanied the rains the last couple of months.
The rain comes down, literally, in sheets and it has sent the throngs scurrying
for cover - not that there have been many places to escape.
The rain isn't showing up very well in these photos but, trust me, it is pouring You
cannot even see the Arabian Sea in the distance.
I am participating in
staying indoors and dry!
That is some rain! Lovely shots.

Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI still don't have a clear idea of how you spend your days, Carmen, what your neighborhood is like, how life proceeds for most ex-expatriates...
those are very creative and very beautiful rainy shots Carmen, I am sure you'd understand me if I say I miss rain a lot, too dry here in San Diego. though I love sun too, but I love rain once a while, just not too often to be humid.
