Our Pacific West Coast is home to many beautiful cities and spectacular scenery.
Here are just three of those cities: San Francisco, California - Seattle,

Superb captures all!!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely missing the cool temperatures of these three cities, Deepak. I can never get used to the heat. In Jaipur, last year, my guest house room was air conditioned. Here, I only have a ceiling fan....not too bad but it's still hotter than I like.
DeleteFantastic views! happy weekend

Thanks, Marcy..they are my three favorite cities on my side of the continent!
DeleteBeautiful shots of the three cities, they make me want to book a tour there right now. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you enjoyed your visits to Singapore. Our weather might be a little too hot for your liking but there are lots of interesting sights and yummy eats to compensate for that slight discomfit. :)
I do agree Singapore is hot...but that's a given when you're nearthe equator! It's hot here in India, too...quite a change when you are used to the always cool climate of San Francisco. But you are right, Singapore has so much to offer, one forgets the heat.
DeleteGreat views of the city from the waterfront.
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing San Francisco from the Sausalito side. You know, I fell in love with the city when I was 18 and had a stopover en route to Hawaii. I visited it several times ( even honeymooned there though my husband and I were living in Boston and got married in New Orleans ). I finally moved there January 2, 1976 and am still in love with it.
DeleteWonderful city views!
ReplyDeleteThese three cities, along with San Diego, are my favorites on the West Coast. I've lived in San Fran for 35 years now and I still love it.
DeleteHmmm... the Canadians might not agree that Vancouver's in the US... but your photo of it and the other cities are indeed really cool. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, you're right...I changed my blog. I, sometimes, I forget that Vancouver and Victoria don't belong to the US since they are so close & I've been there so often. I should have added San Diego to my
Deletepics because that's another of my favorite Western cities.
Hi Carmen, your photos are awesome. Great captures of these three amazing cities. You have a really cool blog. I want to check it out more. And what a cool experience to be in India. I would love to see and read more of your experiences there. Thanks so much for visiting me.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
Thanks, Trekcapri, for the visit. This is the third time since Dec 2011 that I've had a lengthy stay in India....with retirement and a fixed income, it lets me still travel and there is so much to see here. Much poverty and sadness, too.
DeleteBeautiful view of these cities, Carmen!
ReplyDeleteSan Diego is another city that is one of my favorites on the West Coast. In fact, if I hadn't lived in the San Francisco area, San Diego would have been my choice.
DeleteWow ! lots of high skyscrapers !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I wish I were in SFO and Seattle...Sigh!
ReplyDeleteI always like shots where one can see how the city lies on the land.
