I am nearing sixty-seven,
With aches and pains, it's true,
But I really like my trademark eyes,
In every shade and hue!
With fifty years of practice,
It's so much a part of me,
I match the outfit of the day,
With no colors less than three!
I could paint the Sistine Chapel,
With the shadows I possess,
But I always want another,
To match that very special dress!
As I age, it gets much harder,
To get it all on right,
Soon I'll have to give it up.
Or I might just look a fright.
BUT, should I win the lottery,
I will see if I can find,
A resident make up artist,
To give me peace of mind.
