Buried under many feet of snow and experiencing below zero weather, I yearn to be near the ocean enjoying the pleasures of sun and surf. Your pictures are wonderful. Thank you so much for your kind offer of the poetry books. I plan to use some of your poems on my blog in the next couple of weeks. By the way, I love your header photo.
I like the sea, I like the waves, love moist air and I love the smell of sand ...but I'm far from away from all these. Oh Carmen, you are very lucky!enjoy every day! be happy! Happy Wordless wednesday! :)
I am longing for the beach. But I like my ocean warm. I was astounded when we went to San Francisco one summer, at how freaking cold the water was. I am used to the bathwater-warm water of the Southeast coast.
The surfers look happy for all those waves!
ReplyDeleteFANCY THAT!
A hunter of all kinds of water
Had neither a son nor a daughter;
But ocean and sea
Provided such glee—
He fancied adopting an otter!

ReplyDeleteLooks like fun, although I doubt I'd be much good as a surfer! But I must say it looks better then all our ice and snow :-)

ReplyDeleteThat water looks cold but the blues and whites are stunning.
