Last Sunday, when my son and I were at the Pacifica beach, I enjoyed seeing all
dogs that were out enjoying the sunny day. Many of them raced into the surf,
fetching sticks and balls, mindless of the waves and seemed to do much better
than their human counterparts who were a little further out, trying to surf. The
only problem was, when they came out of the water and began shaking vigorously,
spraying water all over the sunbathers!

Looks like a funnnnnnn day! :)
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, to be on a sunny beach by the ocean. What a wonderful treat in this cold weather. Enjoy!!!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way: I can't believe all those dogs get along so well. Uhhhh
Such a happy place to be for man and critter :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful, a dog beach! Nothing like that here in Iowa.
ReplyDeleteSunbathers in February? Sigh....
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun for the dogs!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Camera Critters :-)
They are so cute, I like to watch them playing too.
ReplyDeleteOh Carmen... You are so lucky to have the sun just at your doorstep. hahaha I am so jealous. Can't wait for spring.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed my trip there however brief but too bad I didn't get the chance to see Jo too. I left her a voice mail but didn't reply back and our schedule was hectic too. But I bet there will be a second time. I fell in love in SF. And to say that I left my heart in SF... is an understatement. hahaha
hey Pet Pride has now moved to a new address. it is http://petsalways.blogspot.com/

Dogs and water. It doesn't get much better than that!

ReplyDeleteThose dogs were happy and had fun!

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching the antics of the dogs, more than the people!

I really feel bad for you folks enduring so much snow this winter. The last two days we've been deluged by rain here but it's nothing like the north and midwest are suffering.

Everyone seemed to be having a great time...not even one dog fight!

I'm surprised that dogs are allowed like that on the beach but there seemed to be no restrictions.

I know so many people are having miserable winters. The weather is normally not too hot or too cold in the San Francisco area.
Marie -
I was amazed how much the dogs enjoy the ocean...retrievers, of course, always seem to like it, but all kinds of dogs were racing into the waves.
Maia -
It was such fun watching all the dogs - so many different breeds and none of them fought with each other.

I do hope I'll be here when you get back. I'm having to move from the home I've rented for 13 years. With my job loss of 2 years ago, retirement and a major drop in income, I can't afford $2300/month rent anymore. I won't move far from San Francisco, though. I just love it too much here.

I'll try to remember the new address for Pet Pride. It's such a nice site.

You're so lucky to have Maggie. We've always wanted a dog but our landlord just wouldn't allow it.
Rajesh -
Dogs really seem to enjoy playing in the ocean.

Those dogs were such fun to watch...and I really got a kick out of seeing them shake water over all the sunbathers!
