  7. Wow I hadn't realized how built up it was until I saw these watery shoreline scenes. I guess it's all about perspective.

  12. Carmen, hello. It's a pleasure to meet you on this Wordless Wednesday. Your photos are wonderfully composed. I like how you framed the Golden Gate with Sutro Tower in the distance. I used to live around the corner from that tower. :-)

This is, indeed, a beautiful area in which I live.

    Hitesh -
The Golden Gate is beautiful in all its many moods but, to start another blog...not for me. i can't keep up with this one. My photos will just have to appear here.

I am so happy that I live in this area. It is such a beautiful place.

    Briony -
I'm glad you liked my picture of the Golden Gate Bridge.

This area is one of the prettiest in the U. S.

    OneDay -
San Francisco is, indeed, very nice!

    Thom -
Quite different from Honolulu but very beautiful, nonetheless!

    Sukhmandir Kaur -
The actual land area of San Francisco isn't that great but it is built upward on its hills.

    Elettra -
    Glad you liked my photos!

I think San Francisco is a spectacular city - and the most European in the U. S.

While San Francisco isn't the way it was when I moved here 33 years ago, it is still my favorite place in the U. S., in terms of cities.

I don't know how I'd ever live far from the ocean after 33 years of being here. I also lived about 5 years in the Boston area and a couple of years in Tampa, FL. I like knowing the water is close by, even if I don't see it every day.

    Su-sieee! Mac -
Are you still in the Bay area then? I am actually in Daly City - have lived in San Mateo county for 33 years. I love this area.

  16. When we are able to add urban beauty to natural beauty we obtain great results. Let's try to respect nature the most that we can.
