Hi Carmen! Great to have some time to land here... Dolphins are great!! Hope you manage to profit from the RC offer... Enjoy!!
Blogtrotter Two is showing a wonderful site for holidays: Costa Smeralda!! But we'll need to earn the lotto to fully take advantage of it... ;) Enjoy, drop a line and have a great Sunday!
Irredento Urbanita - Aren't dolphins such beautiful creatures? I rememeber, once, cruising in the Mediterranean, a school of them followed our ship for about an hour to the delight of all passengers. -Check out the link for info on my blogaversary giveaway: http://rnsane.blogspot.com/2010/09/flash-55-friday-happy-anniversary-to-me.html#links
Icy BC - This setting, at the former Kahala Hilton Hotel in Honolulu, was especially nice. They had a lagoon in front where the dolphins swam and you could get right in the front and sit on the pavement while they did their little dolphin show. -Check out the link for info on my blogaversary giveaway: http://rnsane.blogspot.com/2010/09/flash-55-friday-happy-anniversary-to-me.html#links
Dulce - They are the most endearing of creatures. It's funny that we never seem to be fearful of them in the water as we are of sharks. -Check out the link for info on my blogaversary giveaway: http://rnsane.blogspot.com/2010/09/flash-55-friday-happy-anniversary-to-me.html#links
Tes - It was wonderful to stay once at the Kahala Hilton with a lagoon front room, just three floors above the dolphins. The boys would sit for hours watching them swim and splash. They would put on a small show a couple of times a day which was so nice because you could really get up close to the dolphins. -Check out the link for info on my blogaversary giveaway: http://rnsane.blogspot.com/2010/09/flash-55-friday-happy-anniversary-to-me.html#links

Thom - You guessed it. I stayed once at the Kahala Hilton. My three boys just loved it. It was a bit above my budget but worth that splurge one time. Anytime I'd be in HNL in those days with my sons, we'd always go over there. My dear friends parents, the Nishigayas, owned a condo right beside the Kahala so I was familiar with it all my life. After their death, it went to him. Didn't it become a Mandarin Oriental for awhile. I remember, when I'd visit, my other friend, Warren Fukushima, would always take me to the Danny Kaleikini ( I think that was the name ) show there - of course, I am dating myself!! -Check out the link for info on my blogaversary giveaway: http://rnsane.blogspot.com/2010/09/flash-55-friday-happy-anniversary-to-me.html#links

They will often stay besides us for an hour or show and the passengers are so delighted witht their private show. -Check out the link for info on my blogaversary giveaway: http://rnsane.blogspot.com/2010/09/flash-55-friday-happy-anniversary-to-me.html#links

I am having to miss my 45 year nursing school reunion in New Orleans in October ( sad because we only have them every five years and our forty was cancelled because of Katrinaa ). I am still trying to go to India in Dec for six months to live and reduce some of my debt...so far, though, they could only get me a frequent flyer seat on the outbound. Times are growing worse and worse.
