  1. When I went to San Fran, I saw the Golden Gate from afar and the prison too. There are both great places and I recently watched the movie Book of Eli in which they are the center feature.

    Happy Sunday.

  6. Mounted Police - how wonderful! Well done on finding a very handsome horse to photograph, with a Police officer that is also easy on the eye. Hope you are enjoying the start of Summer,

  13. Mickle in NZ - Wasn't this mounted policeman a handsome fellow? He'd only been with the group for about ten weeks. We chatted for a little while after I told him I'd been a forensic nurse for the city. We knew a lot of the same cops!

I guess it's winter for you and Zebby in NZ....stay warm and dry.

I was notified that your book was shipped by Amazon.com on Friday. It should be here early this coming week. I'll keep you post and will definitely comment on Amazon when I finish reading it.

  21. You have a gifted eye for choosing subjects and also for capturing in a most educational light. And entertaining. You are a real professional. You MUST know that.

    Excellent!

Never been to San Francisco, but everyone I know has. And now I feel as if I have been there, through your pictorial.

  23. Did you get the name of the Police? We (my siblings) joke that if we see an handsome uniformed guy, we pretend to be lost. Twice my big sister got lost. Once even inher own city, she wasn't lost, she lost her car.
