Poetic Shutterbug - these were taken on a "Queens" cruise with one of our favorite young captains. He was such a sweetheart and we dined with him twice on that cruise. He's been off ships since that time, working in Royal Caribbean's Miami office as head of marine operations and playing daddy to his new baby. I can't wait till he's sailing again, though.
we've sung about montego many times with the sesame st gang, but i've never seen it. it's very beautiful...and what a fabulous rainbow and landscape. thanks for stopping by!
Hello Carmen, thanks for visiting my page, and for the glimpse of Jamaica here. You have had many photo opportunities and I look forward to seeing more.
Don't rainbows take your breath away? Beautiful pictures all of them. Thank you for your congratulations on my son's graduation. He is coming up to your area next for grad school. Soon I'll be asking you for your recommendations up there. :) xoxo
Samosas for One - my lovely header is the work of Japanese photographer ruma2008 of "Calligraphy in the Landscape". He does the most beautiful photography and I love his blog!
thisisjustalovesong - I've been to Montego Bay twice on a cruise ship but just for a day, not nearly long enough to really see everything. Cruising is fun but it only gives you a taste! I've gotten several great rainbow shots in tropical climes!
Where were these taken from? A cruise ship? The rainbow is AMAZING. These should be postcards, Carmen.
ReplyDeletewow - incredible shots!
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking ocean scapes and I agree that rainbow is gorgeous. Nice shots, Carmen.
ReplyDeleteTina - yes, actually, Captain Richard had invited us up to the bridge of the Radiance of the Seas so we got some fabulous photographs!
ReplyDeleteRobMonroe - thanks for stopping by - glad you like my photos.
