  2. Pretty display of food on the buffet. Royal Caribbean always had a pretty display on their buffets. Happy MYM!

Actually, Hitesh, there is no dressing at all on that tray. It's just deviled eggs and stuffed tomatoes, roast beef and sliced cold cuts, asparagus, and cucumbers.

After 88 cruises, all over the world with Royal Caribbean, I hate that the loss of my job of 21 years has virtually grounded me!

I always enjoyed the food on Royal Caribbean. I gained a few pounds every cruise!

  8. That is too beautiful to eat! (And I don't like a lot of that stuff, so I'll be happy to just look.)

  15. Must have been a wonderful dinner party. Such a lot of work had been put in to crave and decorate the food.

It was all I could do not to wipe out the entire deviled egg display!!

Though Royal Caribbean usually doesn't do a midnight buffet nightly anymore, they usually host one extravaganza so the chefs can display their artistry. It's really something.

Cruising is fun, though I like going to other countries. It doesn't give you long at any one destination though but is good for a "taste" so that you might decide where you want to go back and visit.

    Sharkbytes -
One of the reasons they cut out the midnight buffets was that it was such a total waste of food. People finished dining at 8 and 10P and just weren't ready for that kind of meal right before bed. They do one or two per seven day cruise so folks can see what it's all about, though.

I know what you mean...just looking at that - and all my cruise photos makes me seriously want to head out again!

    Tina -
I love deviled eggs, too, and have several different recipes I made...one with fresh crab meat is spectacular.

I sure do miss cruising when I look at these pictures!!!

Cruising is nothing but fancy dishes like that!

    DrowseyMonkey -
People on cruise ships seem to have no trouble plowing into the food!!

    Marguerite -
When I started cruising, I was a heck of a lot slimmer!!

The chefs and kitchen staff on Royal Caribbean really know how to present food beautifully!
