Rinkly Rimes - I was photographing snapdragons and other flowers and just happened to notice the nice shadows on that rock...a little bonus!
At 65, I've done it! My poetry book - Life's Journey by Carmen Henesy - is out on Amazon! ( Poems about the things that have been important to me in my journey through life, some humorous, some sad, some that may have meaning to you as well ) http://www.amazon.com/Lifes-Journey-1-Carmen-Henesy/dp/1451547366/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1274652997&sr=1-1
Ann - I was kind of lucky I spotted those shadows! I was focused on something else and almost missed them!
Angie - I was pretty happy with that shot myself!

fullet - It is nice when we chance on shadows unexpectedly. I was thrilled when I spotted those!
Dulce - The only critters I saw there were caterpillars destroying the flowers and lots of bees enjoying them!
Poetic Shutterbug - It was nice to spot these very subtle shadows - I almost missed them.
betchai - I thought the rock was so pretty with those shadows...I would like to have it with them permanently embedded on it - wouldn't it make a nice object d' art?

Sylvia K - It was kind of lucky that I noticed this rock and its shadows...I was busy photographing flowers when I spotted it.
You have a terrific week yourself! And thanks for following my blog!
Pat @ Mille Fiori Favoriti - Usually I don't encounter such delicate shadow shouts. I really liked this one. Hope your daughter is enjoying her San Francisco visit. When I was first here at 17 ( in June ), I remember wearing a winter coat with a little mink collar!!
secret agent woman - I just learned that sedum is edible...that was new to me.
Kat_RN - I really thought this was an interesting shot...also, one that I almost overlooked!

Sharkbytes - The sedum was the only thing in this area that I was photographing that wasn't decimated by caterpillars or insects!!!
Tina - I was just lucky to have noticed this great shadow shot...I was down on all fours, practically, trying to get macros of snapdragons!
Ratty - Those sedums seem to be really insect and caterpillar resistant...everything else was pretty well wiped out by critters.
It really does look like a decorated rock!
