Dear Carmen, at the dawn of this new horizon we have in front of us, I want to greet you and wish you all the beautiful things that your soul has to offer to you and to the world and I also wish for you all the blessings you desire, from up above!
May you have a very happy and prosperous New Year!
And, I didn't realize that you live in Japan?? Do you enjoy much your life there?? I have seen photos of the geography- it looks out of this world! Although, I must say, I highly favor China over Japan...but...Japan must have a certain charm of it's own....
North eastern food.......its pretty different from here ....they don't use spices much....most of the food is boiled..and all....its good when looking for a change....\,,,/
Poetic Shutterbug - it was an incredible feast - most elegant. During our week in Japan, our hosts took us to the most wonderful places. Japanese food is my favorite of all Asian varieties.
Emm - I can't remember all that we had..every meal included soup, usually miso, and sashimi, and a few little dishes, vegetables, sometimes chicken or beef and, of course, tea and rice, and, sometimes, sake. All was so artistically arranged.
Ratty - San Francisco has a wonderful Japan town but Japanese restaurants are every- where. It's my favorite Asian food, with Korean a close second but I like it all.
C - I don't live in Japan. I'm in San Francisco. I've been to Japan twic, only for very short trips, the second time at the invitation of forensic colleagues to do some lectures on forensic interviewing of children - all expenses paid. What incredible hosts they were. It was the trip of a lifetime!
Bernie - you must try Japanese food sometime. There is much more to it than sushi and sashimi though I love the raw fish!
hitesh rawat - I've never had north easten food nor even southern Indian food ( though there is a good restaurant in San Francisco I want to try ). I absolutely love Punjabi food, though, and all the fabulous Indian breads. I like medium hot but, some I've tasted, is five alarm. I also love Thai food which can be very hot.
magiceye - Japanese food is wonderful but not with all the wonderful spices of Indian food.
Margie: I've never eaten Japanese but I love Chinese food followed by Italian then Southern. Happy New Year. You stay out of jail because I'm not going to bail you out this time.
Although Japanese food is not a favorite of mine, that looks charming and delicious.
ReplyDeleteJapanese food is so pretty! What all did you have?
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever tried Japanese food. There are a few food items from Japan that I like though, such as edamame.
