Shadown Shot Sunday #162 - Bench and Shadows - June 26, 2011

My trip to Ross, California on June 16, 2011 to hear my dear friends, Sony and
Jerry Holland, in concert was a bonus in many ways.  I got a number of excellent
pictures to use in my blog - lovely flowers from the Marin Art and Garden Center,
offerings from the Farmer's Market that day, and other interesting photographs.
Todays Shadow Shot Sunday was a result of that visit.  I think it is one of my most
interesting shadow shots.  What do you think?

I am participating in that wonderful meme,

Very interesting. So many lines to look at and where they go, and the bench (beautiful) right in the middle.

I'm glad you like this shadow shot. My friend, Jo, and I sat there, mesmerized before our walk in the gardens.

It was, indeed, an interesting shot with deep shdows and lines. I love that bench. I was sitting in one, just like it, on the opposite side.

You know, before participating in this shadow shot meme, I was completely oblivious of shadows and their beauty.

Even with all that bright sunshine and shadows, that Marin County scene, just past Sausalito, was pleasantly cool.

I was really pleased with that shot as well. You got some different angles, I think. You should post them. We should send them to the Marin Art and Garden Center.

That was such a lovely day, Valery, when we went to see our jazz singer friend and her husband play at the Marin Art and Garden Center. We got such a bonus, my friend, Jo and I - a nice tour of the gardens and great photos, wonderful music and treats at the Farmer's Market held each Thursday. It was well worth the 20 mile drive. And, of course, coming back over the Golden Gate Bridge and seeing terrific views of San Francisco, well that was just icing on the cake!!

Isn't it a pretty bench - and I was sitting opposite it in a matching one!

I think that is my best shadow shot ever. Once in awhile,we get lucky that way!

Glad you like my shadow shot. I guess the majesty of your flamingos is that they are wild and not in a zoo or park where I've usually seen them.

I was just so fortunate to chance on that shadow shot. It impressed me so much, I just had to sit there for awhile, mesmerized.
