Thursday afternoon, my friends, the Hollands, were in town to perform at the
Marin Art and Garden Center as part of the summer concert series. It was a
spectacular day and there were quite a few people, children and dogs sprawled
on the lawn in front of the gazebo where Sony sang and Jerry accompanied her
on the guitar.
This shaggy dog got a great deal of attention from his two-legged companions
and he was very well behaved during the concert.

That is one shaggy dog. Would take a lot of work to keep him looking pretty though.
ReplyDeleteCute dog. We used to have a gray version of that dog.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of the dog.

ReplyDeleteThis fellow was clearly adored by the children who own him. The were constantly giving him loves.

I wanted to pet him but he was too far from me and I was trying not to hobble too much on my bad ankle.

It was such a lovely day - nice to be outdoors, lovely music in a beautiful setting and I got to get some fresh vegetables, besides!

That dog was delightfful, just one of several running around during my friend's performance. I thought he was the cutest, though, and he definitely had the most personality.

I'd never seen an English sheep dog of that tan color...the ones I've seen were always gray and white. I think they are such pretty dogs but I imagine they require a good bit of grooming.

He's s nice dog though I think all that fur would be pretty hot in most of India!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely, that shaggy dog needed brushing. I'd love to see his coat then!
Indrani -
I loved that dog...my camera kept going back to him though there were several other pooches there.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure these English sheepdogs are that common in your part of the world...too hot a coat in summer. They aren't nearly so cute with their hair shaved.

ReplyDeleteI wish I had been a bit closer to that dog. He was just so much fun to watch!

Very cute poetic response, Kay. That English sheepdog won my heart, without a doubt!
What a beautiful cute and hairy doggy!
