LakewoodDP - There were all sorts of interesting statues in the courtyard outside the Sistine Chapel!
betchai - I only spent a day walking about the Vatican but you could be there a week and never see it all! There were interesting things like this everywhere in Rome!
Kaye - That Matilija poppy is incredible. It grows unbelievably tall an the petals are like crinkly paper.
Sharkbytes (TM) - This guy does look a bit strange spewing water from his mouth!
secret agent woman - He isn't all that attractive, is he?
Kay L.Davies - The Vatican certainly had much more beautiful sculptures and statues than this drooling face!
Dina - This was my third visit to Rome and to the Vatican. One never sees it all. I was so dismayed, though, at all the graffiti. I guess one can't escape it anywhere these days.
JO - I am so fortunate that I traveled the world before I lost my job three years ago - my memories sustain me.
Maggie May - I think I've known a few men like this spouting gent!
Kat_RN - This is Rome, Kat, in the courtyard leading to the Sistine Chapel.
Icy BC - I took at least a hundred pictures that day at the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican!
Oh, wow, what a neat picture!
ReplyDeletei love water fountains like this Carmen with interesting sculpture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I love the papery look of the flower petal.
ReplyDeleteI have always thought that fountains with water coming out of mouths were odd.
ReplyDeleteHa! Makes it seem like he's drooling heavily.
ReplyDeleteNot my favorite kind of photo, water coming out of a mouth, but what a location to visit, Carmen!

I love fountains which spew water from their mouths and do my best to emulate them when in the shower :)
