Waterlogged, the grass is mush,
From days of more than ample rain,
And now we're told there's more to come,
I'd like to see the sun again!
At least it isn't ice and snow,
And flowers have begun to bloom,
Acacias, quince, and crocus, too,
Help eliminate the gloom!
Enough of showers, time for flowers!
I am participating in Skywatch Friday and Friday Flash 55 sponsored by that dashing Mr. G Man.
Check out both sites and join in the fun.
Soon there will be flowers. :)

It's 54 degrees right now here in my San Francisco suburb with showers for the next 24 hours! I'm not doing anything this weekend anyway so I don't really mind.

I cannot believe I haven't been to the South now in over a year. It was early March when I was last in Atlanta, having admitted my mom to assisted living. She has no idea who my brother and me are but I am hoping to go visit sometime soon.

I so miss traveling. Would love a trip anywhere...even somewhere in California. It was fun just on my overnight to Santa Cruz to see Sony Holland but I would love to go on a cruise! It's been a year.

I never carry an umbrella. I lose them every single time so I've given up on them.
I'm waiting impatiently for warmer weather, since I'm just so tired with snow already.
