I came across a new Thursday meme which looks like fun. I've never
participated before but I'm sure I'll return. My sign photo is from Camelot
Fish and Chips in Pacifica, California. Though I'd lived in the area for
over 20 years, I'd never eaten there. I just happened to be at the post
office, in that neighborhood, when the hungries hit me. Other than all
the calories, the fish and chips were delicious, close to what I had with
my British friends in Rye. I did have a Guinness with my meal but I
opted out of the fried Mars Bar.
I am participating in Sign, Signs - add your
interesting - or funny - sign to join in the fun.
That sign is definitely hard to miss. Thatvhuge pint of beer looks so inviting. My husband loves Guiness to go with his fish and chips, too. Is that a red teapot? I thought it was a post box for a moment.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'm not sure whether that is a red teapot OR a post box. To tell you the truth, I didn't even notice it. The place was so full of knick knacks!
DeleteI'm not a beer drinker but, if I do have it, I want Guiness or Newcastle Brown Ale...none of those wimpy beers for me.
I think the red piece is a post box in the shape of a tea pot...very clever. Live the Guiness sign...don't think you could miss that one. Pretty impressive. genie
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite sure about the teapot/postbox. It was so
Deleteovershadowed by the sign, I don't remember noticing it.
wow, that is some sign! I've never had Guinness; don't think I'd try one that big!
ReplyDeleteI think a Guiness is a much better choice!!
ReplyDeleteIndian buildings are a marvel of intricate designs and carvings
In the last year, I've spent a total of 7 months in India....& I'm not going home until mid-Nov. I have loved all the marvels I've seen, especially the beautiful temples and palaces.
DeleteOnly in America!
ReplyDeleteWell, you know us, Pat! It's great to see you.
DeleteI love the tea pot/phone box
ReplyDeletegreat catch
Well, Dianne, other people though that teapot was a post box but it could well have been a phone. I'd like to have one like it
