Flash 55 Friday - Happy New Year - December 31, 2010

Another year comes to an end,
I'm not so sad to see it go,
It wasn't really great for me,
It was full of misery and woe.

I look, with hope, to days ahead,
Of better times and sunny skies,
My life's in flux, there's change for me,
All to come with the year's demise.

Well, I've already had terrible news this new year. Laura, my daughter-in-law called at 7:30AM to tell me she miscarried ( 10 weeks pregnant ) late last night. My first grandchild
will not arrive in July. We are all heartbroken.

I am very sad today. My daughter-in-law miscarried last night in her tenth week of pregnancy ( my first grandchild ). It's a
    horrible beginning for this year.

    Geeta -
I will not be a first time grandmother in July. Laura miscarried last night. My poor son is beside himself and at a loss how to comfort her.

I wonder what the months have in store for us,
Jamie. Time seems to pass so much more quickly, the older I get.

My year has started sadly. My son and his wife
phoned early this AM to tell me that Laura miscarried. She was ten weeks pregnant and this was my first grandchild. we are having a difficult time with this.

So much to do now that the new year has come. With my retirement income, I can no longer afford rent on my home of 13 years so I have to move by the end of Feb. I have a busy couple of months ahead of me!

    Donna -
This is going to be a busy few months for me as I get ready to move into much smaller quarters..and I don't even know where yet.

    secret agent woman -
I just had the news today that my daughter-in-law lost the baby ( ten weeks pregnant ) which has really made our new year depressing.

    Manuela -
I am heartbroken today. My son who married in May, called to tell me that Laura miscarried last night. She was ten weeks pregnant with my first grandchild.
