The Brenda Photo Challenge, 5-22-10 - FLOWERS

Oh, my goodness, when I did my post after midnight this morning, I had forgotten all about the Brenda Photo Challenge!  I've never participated in it before and this month's theme is flowers!
Of course, as usual, I left things to the last minute.  I do have a few flower pictures so I'm going to post now though I'm not at all sure how to get it in....

The Butchart Gardens pictures, I've posted before.

  6. lakeviewer - Buchart Gardens are my favorite ever. I would love to get up in June when the roses are in bloom.

  8. steveroni - in addition to poetry, I've always liked photography. It's nice to do something other than forensic stuff. In 1995, I spent a week at the morgue in Miami taking a forensic photography class. This type of stuff is more joyful. I do occasionally use my Adobe photoshop to brighten my pictures but not to change colors.

  9. Tina - you are so right, many of the scenes at Butchart are very much like impressionist pictures.

  10. Manang Kim - every time I'm at these beautiful gardens in British Columbia, I'm overwhelmed. Every corner is planted with more beautiful vistas than the next. It is an unbelievable paradise.

  11. Ratty - visiting Butchart Gardens is one of the true pleasures in life. Their gardeners ae such artists and the flowers are such a riot of color. There are lovely places to picnic so you can just sit and enjoy the scenes before you - plus there are so many birds also enjoying the beautiful flowers and the colors.
