My guest house shares space with a preschool here in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. My
private entrance, in fact, is next to that the children use but, since they leave about
noon, I still have my privacy and I enjoy seeing them come and go. I keep thinking
I should ask the teachers if I could sit in on classes so I can learn Hindi!!! I love
these bright, colorful signs out front which are perfect for Ruby Tuesday 2.

Wonderful colours. A promise in the making. Please have a great time.
ReplyDeleteI love watching these youngsters arrive and leave and it warms my heart to see them, already learn English. Too bad, in the U. S., so many kids don't learn a second language. I think everyone should speak at least two!
DeleteVery colorful and yes it would be nice if you can learn Hindi while you are there. ^_^ It would be awesome!

I've been asked, by the owner of my favorite beautiful heritage hotel here in Jaipur, if I would be willing to spend a few hours a couple of days a week, with his small children, to help them learn English. I am delighted...it will also help me with Hindi vocabulary.
DeleteI am glad you are enjoying your stay here.
ReplyDeleteNow that I have an a/c room, life is more pleasant. I am sleeping better so the hot days adventuring are more tolerable. The 7th, I'm off to Chandigarh for a week.
