Shadow Shot Sunday - Resort Shadows, The Cliffs at Shell Beach, CA

Join in the fun every Sunday at:  Hey, Harriett: Shadow Shot Sunday

During my conference at Shell Beach recently, I had the opportunity to photograph all sorts of shadow shots, including yesterday's Bloody Mary.

I loved these palm shadows in the swimming pool!

Palm and beach chair shadows

Plant shadows

This is the plant that created the previous shadows

More plant shadows

I love this shadow of the ceiling fan on the lobby floor!

  4. Carmen...this is the very road where we used to drive Buddy on the way to our walks at Pismo Beach...

I feel so bad that you were so close and I missed you. I had been looking forward to it. And Yes...I live about 6 blocks from Firestone Grill. Last night John and I walked to dinner to CPK...but I know you understand. I couldn't talk, I couldn't swallow, I couldn't even breathe.

This just took me down. But I am feeling better and can't wait to share Teddy with you...

I know we will meet one day. I know we will.

Sending love to you my friend on this beautiful Spring day,
    Kary

  5. Well, my laptop crashed on my last attempt to comment so we'll see if this one works. I am watching for you to post your photo of that fabulous lunch you had at McPhee's. Also, thank you for your generous remarks on my blog today. I'm happy that you could visualize exactly what I was describing. Have a great week!

We really did have beautiful weather at Shell Beach. It's pretty hard to stay inside and listen to gruesome lectures about crime!!

It seems I can't venture out anywhere anymore unless I have my camera in hand, sleuthing out shadows or other pictures for my blog!

    Jenny -
Shell Beach is always relaxing...good classes but enough time for play with good friends and colleagues.
