Camera Critters #141 - An Interchange - December 18, 2010
Camera Critters #141 - An Interchange - December 18, 2010
I know I should be packing and organizing my big move the end of February - I
guess going through photographs could be part of that, right. I found these, from
about twenty years ago, taken down on the Monterey, CA peninsula, when blogging
was not even a figment of my imagination. I thought they were kind of cute and perfect
for camera critters - though my photography skills ( and the camera back then ) were
pretty awful!
"Okay, fella, you're a lot bigger than me, but share the handouts, please."
"Well, his look isn't too friendly but he hasn't pounced yet...."
"Wait a minute, big guy, there was room enough for both of us on this rock!"
I am participating in Camera Critters #141!
Check out the site for a look at some other great post and join in the fun!

To Catch a Thief - Flash 55 Friday, July 23, 2010
To Catch a Thief - Flash 55 Friday, July 23, 2010
Atop his perch, he scans his world,
Searching both the land and sea,
Hoping he will come across,
A tasty fish or delicacy.
It seems the competition’s fierce,
For just as he is set to fly,
Another gull steals his fish,
Letting out a raucous cry!
Where is that cat when you really need him?

Handicapped Seagull ?
I was out driving in a downpour on Easter Sunday, with my camera handy on the front seat when I spotted this seagull in the parking lot of the Safeway grocery store. I thought it was kind of cute, so I got a picture. I was going to save it for a mellow yellow Monday post but, since my mind is blank, I thought I'd use it today. He doesn't look disabled at all but he's taking up a handicapped parking place - that's a five hundred dollar fine in California!
