Spring has definitely arrived in San Mateo, California and the San Francisco Bay area. These are just one variety of beautiful flowering trees that delight me these days.
I am so fond of elephants - the live variety and any kind of ornament, jewelry, and work of art depicting them. I think I have passed that on to my precious granddaughter who will be three-years-old April 13th. I saw this beautiful elephant throw on Amazon and got it for Harper. However, I loved it so much, I have kept it and will have to order another for her!!!

I love the pinks, glad spring has arrived.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice...still a little cool in northern California but no snow unless you head to the Sierras.

ReplyDeleteWe received 9 inches of snow here in Michigan and schools have been closed last 3 days. Your pink flowering trees are a delight; a reminder that Spring will be arriving soon. I read your profile and discovered your love of cruising. I am looking forward to our cruise this summer from San Francisco to Vancouver. Glad we met through Pink Saturday.

Do you live in the San Francisco area? I have done over 80 cruises all over the world...mostly on Royal Caribbean. Since my forced retirement in massive budget cuts to public health in 2009, I haven't cruised but, April 16, I sail for 14 days, Tampa to Barcelona. After 5 days in Barcelona, I'll fly to India for five months...can't afford to live full time in SF on my pension!
DeleteLove those pink trees I love CA and I also love elephants there is a great elephant sanctuary in TN she takes in former circus ones and gives them a wonderful life. If I ever win lottery I am donating a bunch to the elephants.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to hear of an elephant sanctuary in the US. When I am in India this visit, I am hoping to visit one there.
DeleteI am looking forward to spring in Texas. The past several weeks we went from winter to summer and now back to winter. The weather is not normal anymore.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right....climate change is definitely a way of life now.
DeleteI love the flowering trees!
ReplyDeleteThe blooms are breathtaking, especially when you see whole fields of them in fruit orchards!!!
