It's always easier, when your brain is on Sabbatical ( or when you are in the
company of a baby for a whole month - as I have been since my return from
traveling most of January about some of the cities in which I've lived in the former
Southern U. S. ), to have nice blogging memes to help stimulate blogging posts.
"Colours" had me pouring through hundreds of photographs this morning. India
pictures are the most colorful in my collection although I do have some other
wonderful ones from other travels. Of course, seeing them made me very
wistful to get out the suitcases and start look at reservation sites. I do plan to
head back to India in the next few months. That country is now so much a part
of me!!

This colorful group of young cricketers played in the courtyard outside my

Very colorful and sweet smiles. A happy picture.
ReplyDeleteThey were such sweet children, Indrani. Wonder if any will grow up to play professional cricket!!
DeleteSo colorful! Funny, as I tend to associate cricket clothing with the color white only... ;)
ReplyDeleteAh, yes....the way tennis used to be...
DeleteWOW - what a beautiful shot. Perfect for this week's theme. In addition to the colours you really captured their expressions.
ReplyDeleteHave a super weekend.
These children were a delight during my first four month stay in India. I've returned twice since that time, often stopping back at Sahar Village and have run into the same group, of course, several inches taller.
DeleteI have been to India too, Rajasthan and it is a country of colours. Every where you go it is so colourful.

I love Rajasthan. I was so fortunate to spend five months in Jaipur.
DeleteThey have so many colors it almost looks like they planned it.
ReplyDeleteSu ch a sweet bunch of boys....playing their games right outside my bedroom window. I couldn't have slept late had that been my intent!!!
DeleteSo, you'll be "home" again.
ReplyDeleteWell, rainfield, India has definitely become my second home. I just wish the airfares weren't so costly. I would prefer going for four months at a time, and returning to CA for four months at a time.
DeleteWhat a great shot and perfect for the theme.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carver. I really loved those little guys.
