Skywatch Friday - Sacramento Sunset - December 17, 2013

I decided to drive around last evening to look at some of the Christmas displays.
Nothing however, rivaled, that put on by nature.  It was so spectacular, I had to
pull off the road and get out, camera in hand, to snap a few pictures.  Wish I had
been near the ocean!

I stayed, watching this incredible display, till darkness settled.

I am participating in

Add your sky photo and join in the fun.

  1. What warm, stunning colors in the sky. It certainly does rival any Christmas display. Happy Sky Watch!

    1. Sadly, dear Maggie, Santa brought a flare up of my kidney stones for Christmas. I spent most of two days in bed...except to watch little Harper open her gifts. She most seemed to like the wrappings and nibbling on the tags!!!

    1. Santa brought me a flare up of my kidney stones early Christmas AM and I've spent most of the last two days in bed. Managed to resurrect long enough for the fun of seeing little Harper Ann open her gifts...couldn't miss my granddaughter's first Christmas.
