I decided to drive around last evening to look at some of the Christmas displays.
Nothing however, rivaled, that put on by nature. It was so spectacular, I had to
pull off the road and get out, camera in hand, to snap a few pictures. Wish I had
been near the ocean!
I stayed, watching this incredible display, till darkness settled.

What warm, stunning colors in the sky. It certainly does rival any Christmas display. Happy Sky Watch!
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed the cool, crisp weather and lovely skies...a big change from the past six months in India.
DeleteWow Carmen, you caught some gorgeous sunset colours - so vivid too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen one quite this spectacular since!
DeleteSuch marvelous colors! Beautiful:-)
ReplyDeleteMy only regret is that I'm not living nearer the coast as in the past 35 years!!!
DeleteI'm glad you stopped. It would be hard to concentrate on driving with such skies to view.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a driving distraction for a lot of people that day!

Nuts in May
Sadly, dear Maggie, Santa brought a flare up of my kidney stones for Christmas. I spent most of two days in bed...except to watch little Harper open her gifts. She most seemed to like the wrappings and nibbling on the tags!!!

Trinidad and Tobago are two Caribbean islands I never managed to see in all of my jaunts in that part of the world. I'll take a look. How wonderful to hear from you again.

ReplyDeleteHi Pat, I've been in Sacramento with my sweet little granddaughter since returning from India. She's almost 9 months now and such a delight...almost always smiling and the two granddogs are just wonderful with her...very tolerant and loving.
DeleteGorgeous shots! Hoping you are having a wonderful Christmas.
ReplyDeleteSanta brought me a flare up of my kidney stones early Christmas AM and I've spent most of the last two days in bed. Managed to resurrect long enough for the fun of seeing little Harper Ann open her gifts...couldn't miss my granddaughter's first Christmas.
