My first sweet precious grandchild,
Didn’t have a clue,
She debuted on April 14th,
Not the day with taxes due.
Her Nana who is full of bliss,
Gives thanks to all the gods she asked,
For sending such a lovely girl,
To join our rowdy clan at last!
From the start, I lost my heart!!!
I am particpating in
Friday Flash 55, conceived by
the brilliant mind of Mr Know It All!
Join in the fun!!!
How sweet! Congratulations on your new little grandbaby!
ReplyDeleteI am elated. Won't have too long to visit with her, though...she's in Sacramento, a couple of hours away - and I return to India for six months the first of June.
DeleteCarmen Electra...
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet
You are so lucky
I'd be beaming too!!
Loved your Nana 55
Thanks for sharing part of your life with us
Have a Kick Ass Week End
It's a good thing I have skype so I can keep up with Harper's progress during my six months in India. She'll grow far too fast!
DeleteYour first day as a grandmother.
ReplyDeleteCongratulation.
Thanks, sweet rainfield. She is so sweet. Wish Sacramento were a little closer. Two hours driving time each way and so much to do before I leave June 1 for India. I won't get too much time with my grandbaby...except on skype for the next six months.
DeleteCongratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deepak. I am thrilled. It will be hard tearing myself away from her to head to Mumbai. My son swears he'll get on skype once a week, at least, to show Harper Ann off to her Nana.
DeleteOh Carmen! Congratulations one and all. I'm thrilled for you. My sister tells me what a joy it is to be a grandmother and from the beaming smile on your face I'd say you absolutely agree! Miss Harper Ann (beautiful name) is absolutely gorgeous. Blessing to you all.

Thanks, Joanna. I was so glad I was there when Harper arrived. I'd gone up for the ultrasound on Wed and was about to head home Sat AM when Laura told me she thought she was in labor. I got to be there when she was born and spent the first three days with her. Now, between packing for India, etc, I hope to get back a couple of times before June 1.
DeleteShe's a good one! And I like the smiley grandma too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joan, she is just a love. I get such a kick out of their two dogs with her. Taffy, the female, must be feeling some maternal instincts because she is rarely away from her. Bucky likes her but he doesn't watch her every move.
DeleteHow wonderful! Huge congratulations, Nanna. She is beautiful. We are moving back to the UK to be with ours. She slipped inot a heart pocket I didn't know I had! Enjoy your little one. x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Glynis....so you are moving from Cyprus to be closer to family! I know it will be hard heading off to India for six months on June 1...perhaps I won't be able to stay away that long.
ReplyDeleteThis is cool!
