Friday Flash 55 - Not Gone, But Forgotten - November 11, 2011

I'm stilll around,
Not posting much,
A couple days a week or such.

It's been just hell,
Sorting through my life,
Discarding much has caused such strife.

I'm nearly done,
The end's in sight,
December 1st, I'll board my flight.

I'll have four months,
To get to know,
An exotic country that I love so.

I sure don't know why you are so obsessed with India. I'm sure it's lovely, but so is San Diego! But...Do what thou wilt!
    Loved your 55
I better get some 55's from India...
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End

I hope all will go well in India. I'm getting pretty old for such adventures but I figure, it's now or never!

I spent only one week in India before - way back in 1997 - but I loved it and I have many wonderful India friends. I just bought a new camera so I hope I'll get many great photos. As for other "shots", I've tasted some other Indian booze...ohhh, I'll miss my good California wines, that's for sure

    ρομπερτ -
Just ordered a new Canon G12 digital camera...couldn't afford anything fancier - so I hope, as often as I can, I'll be sending blogs out. Robert, your good wishes make me feel so good. I'll check in often!

You know, I'm sure some of my friends would have taken a few of my treasures and loved them, too...I think that's what bothered me most, just sending them off to Goodwill. I am sure this time will fly by - you know, as I have grown older, the days and years seem to be very fleeting. I hope I have internet access so I can keep up with you and my other friends who are so important to me.

    Sheila @ A Postcard a Day -
You are the best, always. I will have to be sending you some postcards from India!

My obsession with India came, I guess, from sailing 78 times with Royal Caribbean where half the crew seem to be from that country. I was so royally treated by all of them and, in 1997, I spent a week in Mumbai at the home of one of the crew members and his wife ( their home will be my headquarters now, almost fifteen years later - I'm called by many, "the American mother of the Indian crew" and this visit is about seeing all of my Indian family!'
