Pacifica, CA - Sundays in My City, Sunday, July 18, 2010

Pacifica, CA - Sundays in My City, Sunday, July 18, 2010

I was just driving around up and down Daly City and Pacifica streets, after a nice lunch at
American Sushi House, looking for potential blog photographs. I found myself close to the
ocean - which is never very far in this area - and ended up on a pretty deserted old road.
When I came to a sign that read, "rough road," I knew I should follow it and, oh, was I
rewarded. There, at the end, the most beautiful vista awaited me, with fields of wild
daisies growing profusely. There were a number of other folks parked in that spot, people
enjoying the scenery and having their lunch, chatting on cell phones, or just admiring the
view so it is, by no means, my very own. No matter, it is too lovely to selfishly want to
keep to myself. Yesterday, I went back and took my friend, Jo, so I'm sure she will also
share it on her blog.
