Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors - #136 - Pink San Francisco Victorian - July 7, 2014

San Francisco, California, the wonderful "city by the bay," which has been a part of my
life for nearly forty years now, boasts the most incredible Victorian houses, many
of them with "whimsical windows, delirious doors."  I would often drive around for
several hours, with camera at the ready, snapping pictures, whenever something
wonderful caught my eye.

Here is but one of the incredible houses, referred to as "Painted Ladies."

  1. Hi Carmen,
It has been on my bucket list since I was a very young girl to visit San Francisco.
How lucky you are to live in such an extraordinary place. Wow.

    1. Maureen, I first saw San Francisco at 18, between summers in nursing school when I had a layover en route from New Orleans to Hawaii ( I'm originally from Georgia ). I knew, someday, I'd live here. It's never been a disappointment &, though I leave to see the world, I always return here.

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any
issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My site has a lot of completely unique
content I've either created myself or outsourced but it
seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my
agreement. Do you know any techniques to help reduce
content from being stolen? I'd definitely appreciate
    it.

  4. For the short time I lived in San Francisco in the mid-80s, I loved to ride around and see the beautiful "Painted Ladies" as well. They can't help but make you smile.
    Thanks for the lovely reminder.
